Biography

Evangelos Psomakelis is a PhD candidate at the Department of Informatics and Telematics of Harokopio University of Athens and a research collaborator at the Distributed Knowledge and Computer Systems Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens. He is a graduate of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of Harokopio University, with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the same university. His main research interests include machine learning, knowledge discovery, and sentiment analysis. He has been involved in research programs funded by the European Union such as “Consensus,” “BASMATI,” “Affectus,” and “ACCORDION.” He is currently involved in the research program “ATMO-MoRe,” developing a machine learning mechanism for optimizing the ATM network provisioning process of the National Bank of Greece.
